Fructease capsules contain the enzyme xylose isomerase, which can alleviate the symptoms of fructose malabsorption.

During optimal digestion, fructose is absorbed into the bloodstream in the small intestine via the GLUT-5 transporter. Fructose can then serve the body as a source of energy. In the case of fructose malabsorption, there is a deficiency in the GLUT-5 transport system. Fructose cannot be absorbed in the small intestine and enters the large intestine, where bacteria produce gases from it.

When the enzyme xylose isomerase is taken, fructose, also known as fructose, is converted into glucose and is therefore better absorbed. The product fructease can thus be taken as a supportive treatment for fructose malabsorption.

Application

Up to 3 times daily: Take 1-2 capsules with water 15 minutes before meals containing fructose.
