Augentropfen zur Behandlung des stark trockenen und chronisch trockenen Auges, die eine intensive und lang anhaltende Befeuchtung der Augenoberfläche sicherstellen.

Nur durch hochviskose Augentropfen, die deutlich länger auf der Augenoberfläche verbleiben, wird ein nachhaltiger Befeuchtungseffekt erzielt. Der in Hylo-Gel enthaltene Inhaltsstoff Hyaluronsäure ist für diese Aufgabe geradezu prädestiniert. Aufgrund ihrer besonderen Eigenschaften und der außerordentlich hohen Qualität der in Hylo-Gel enthaltenen Hyaluronsäure reicht eine Konzentration von 0,2% bereits aus, um eine überdeutlich erhöhte Viskosität der Tropflösung zu erzielen. Wichtig ist dabei, dass es trotz der fast gelartigen Konsistenz von Hylo-Gel zu keinerlei Beeinträchtigung der Sehleistung kommt.
