Bad breath is a common problem that can affect men and women of all ages.
Development of bad breath
The most common misconception is that the unpleasant odor originates in the stomach - but in reality it originates in the oral cavity. It can be caused by poor oral hygiene, gingivitis, periodontosis or dry mouth. Certain foods, medicines and stress can also reduce saliva production and contribute to bad breath.
Bad breath is usually caused by bacteria in the oral cavity, located in the interdental spaces and on the tongue. When bacteria break down food residues, unpleasant smelling sulphur compounds are formed.
Mode of action of CB12
CB12 (Controlled Breath 12 hours) with mint and menthol breaks down these bad smelling compounds and prevents their re-forming. Thus the mouthwash not only eliminates bad breath by covering it up, but also actively combats the cause of bad breath. Thanks to the contained sodium fluoride (0.05%) the maintenance of caries protection is also supported by brushing the teeth.

Difference to the regular CB12
The CB12 Sensitive is suitable for all people who have bad breath and sensitive teeth. The painful teeth are often caused by exposed tooth necks or damage to the enamel. This leads to exposed stimulation lead tubules and the teeth therefore react hypersensitively to external stimuli. CB12 Sensitive contains arginine, which forms a protective shield around the tooth, thereby reducing pain sensations. The arginine binds to the dentin and thus closes the exposed stimulation channels, preventing the transmission of pain to the nerve.
Application
- Rinse the mouth after regular tooth brushing and gargle with a portion of CB12 sensitiv for 30 - 60 seconds, then spit out.
- Use 1-2 times daily
- For 24-hour protection: Use CB12 sensitiv morning and evening.
