It is used on a doctor's prescription for the following applications: severe pain and high fever that do not respond to other measures. </p> </div> <div class="paragraph"> <h3> <div class="h"> When should Metamizol Spirig HC not be taken? </div> </h3> <p> You must not use Metamizol Spirig HC: </p> <ul class="list-bullets"> <li> if you are hypersensitive to metamizole or related pain relievers (so-called pyrazolones / pyrazolidines), such as propyphenazone, phenylbutazone and others, as well as the auxiliary substances it contains; </li> <li> in the case of blood formation disorders and impaired bone marrow function (e.g. chemotherapy); <!-- li --> </li><li> if you are hypersensitive to painkillers or rheumatic drugs (e.g. salicylates, paracetamol, diclofenac, ibuprofen, indomethacin, naproxen) and have reacted with asthma, hives or swelling of the face; </li> <li> with certain liver diseases ( so-called hepatic porphyria); </li> <li> in infants under 3 months or r with a body weight of less than 5 kg. </li> </ul> </div> <div class="paragraph"> <h3> <div class="h"> When should you be careful when taking Metamizol Spirig HC ? </div> </h3> <p> This drug can impair your reactions, the ability to use tools and the ability to drive! </p> <p> Metamizole can occasionally lead to hypersensitivity reactions. If you experience itching, reddening of the skin, nettle rash, swelling, e.g. of the face, shortness of breath or drowsiness during the treatment, the doctor must be informed immediately and the medication should be discontinued. </p> <p> or if you have had hypersensitivity reactions to fever, colourants or preservatives, or if you suffer from asthma, chronic nettle rash or cold, you must tell your doctor or pharmacist about this (see “When may Metamizol Spirig HC not used? »). In these situations the risk of hypersensitivity reactions is increased. The doctor will then only use Metamizol Spirig HC for compelling reasons and under particularly careful medical supervision. </p> <p> Metamizol Spirig HC can occasionally lead to a drop in blood pressure. This risk is increased in the presence of low blood pressure with a lack of blood volume, decreased body water, unstable circulation and increased fever. </p> <p> If the treatment develops a fever, sore throat, difficulty swallowing, an inflammation in the mouth, general malaise, bruising or bleeding , <em> you must </em> stop using Metamizol Spirig HC immediately and contact your doctor immediately .
